Customer Billing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly, in alignment with company and departmental objectives.

• Record each customer interaction in the Oracle ticketing system.

• Clarify billing processes and procedures to customers.

• Work collaboratively with Customer Service, Technical Support, Sales, and other teams to guarantee a positive customer experience.

• Confirm authorization for releasing account information.

• Process credits, refunds, and charges on customer accounts.

• Offer customer service and billing assistance to UCaaS SMB clients through inbound calls, emails, and outbound follow-ups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Billing, or a Call Center setting.

• Experience in billing support is highly desirable, including comprehensive research, credit, refund, and payment processing.

• Strong data entry, proofreading, organizational, phone, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to meet and/or exceed call center performance metrics (AHT, ASA, CSAT, FCR, etc.).

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must possess strong attention to detail and the capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Experience in Telecom, VoIP, Networking, or Communications is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills are required.

• Strong computer proficiency is necessary, with demonstrated skills in Windows, Internet, PC support, and MS Office.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Capability to type at least 35 words per minute.
