This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer inquiries related to pressure part materials, equipment enhancements, and thorough power plant evaluations.

• Implement fuel conversions, emission reduction initiatives, and projects aimed at improving heat rates.

• Execute combustion and process calculations to assess combustor and component efficiency.

• Analyze heat transfer surface configurations, materials, and auxiliary boiler equipment.

• Establish performance guarantees for steam generators.

• Assess risks and aid in commissioning, tuning, and performance evaluations.

• Produce engineering selections and offer deliverables, collaboration, and project team assistance.

• Utilize expertise in boiler design and operation to implement business strategies.

• Present or evaluate work during technical and program reviews.

• Record technical information in accordance with engineering codes, design standards, and procedures.

• Suggest solutions to complex challenges that fall outside established parameters.

• Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

• Lead small-scale, low-risk projects and assist team members in achieving consensus on boiler design matters.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Proven project management skills.

• Familiarity with boiler design and operations.

• Ability to collaborate across different functions.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.

• Willingness to travel domestically to customer sites, limited to under 10%.
