Claims Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and set standards for the claims settlement process.

• Act as a technical authority and offer discipline-specific assistance for medium-complexity claims settlements.

• Contribute to the enhancement of technical skills.

• Provide technical assistance for the enforcement of contracts.

• Aid claims advisors in developing their technical competencies.

• Analyze and authorize claims settlements.

• Conduct research and act as a resource person.

• Suggest solutions for conflicts and circumstances beyond the claims advisor’s authority.

• Review claims handled by independent adjusters.

• College diploma in a relevant field.

• At least three years of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be taken into account.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.
