Claims Representative, Auto – Property Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze and handle auto and general liability property damage claims.

• Process claims, evaluate damage, issue payments, and ensure that claim files are accurately documented and coded in alignment with policy requirements.

• Create and sustain action plans to adhere to state-mandated contract deadlines and facilitate the timely and appropriate resolution of files.

• Identify and pursue subrogation possibilities; manage and dispose of salvage.

• Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured parties, clients, and agents or brokers when relevant.

• Maintain professional relationships with clients.

• Conduct coverage, liability, and damage assessments on all assigned claims.

• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.

• Travel as necessary.

• Execute other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Secure and uphold the State adjusting licenses as required for the role.

• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.

• Ability to review and evaluate Property Damage estimates, total loss assessments, and related expenses to effectively negotiate first and third-party claims.

• Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms, and title requirements is preferred.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and interpretative skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to meet or surpass Service Expectations.

• Proficient in computer keyboarding.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.

• Clear and conceptual thinking skills; excellent judgment and discretion; capacity to meet deadlines.
