This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +23 more states.
β’ Evaluate and manage auto and general liability property damage claims.
β’ Handle claims processing, assess damages, issue payments, and ensure claim files are accurately documented and coded according to the policy.
β’ Create and sustain action plans to comply with state-mandated contract deadlines and facilitate timely and appropriate file resolutions.
β’ Recognize and pursue subrogation opportunities; manage and dispose of salvage.
β’ Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured individuals, clients, and agents or brokers as necessary.
β’ Uphold professional relationships with clients.
β’ Conduct coverage, liability, and damage assessments on all assigned claims.
β’ Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
β’ Travel as needed.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
β’ Obtain and maintain the necessary State adjusting licenses for the role.
β’ Familiarity with personal and commercial insurance policies and endorsements.
β’ Ability to review and evaluate Property Damage estimates, total loss assessments, and associated expenses to effectively negotiate both first and third-party claims.
β’ Knowledge of total loss processing, including State salvage forms and title requirements is preferred.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
β’ Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
β’ Possess analytical and interpretive skills.
β’ Excellent organizational abilities.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills.
β’ Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
β’ Ability to meet or exceed service expectations.
