Claims Examiner – Liability, PIP, No Fault

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate PIP/No Fault claims on behalf of clients to establish entitled benefits.

• Maintain continuous adjudication of claims in alignment with service expectations, industry standards, and client service obligations.

• Analyze and process claims using action plans to achieve timely resolutions.

• Investigate and collect information to assess claim exposure.

• Negotiate settlements of claims within assigned authority limits.

• Communicate claim status and processing updates with claimants and clients.

• Report claims to the excess carrier.

• Respond to requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is advantageous.

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Florida licensing is mandatory.

• Licensing in Hawaii and NY 17-72 is preferred.

• Familiarity with FL, NY, MD, and MI jurisdictions is essential.

• Strong clear and conceptual thinking abilities.

• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.

• Capability to manage work-related stress and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.

• Ability to meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficiency in computer keyboarding.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
