📋 Description

• Evaluate intricate or technically challenging general and product liability claims to ascertain benefits owed.

• Manage high-exposure claims that involve litigation and rehabilitation efforts.

• Maintain ongoing adjudication of claims in alignment with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards.

• Identify subrogation opportunities for claims and negotiate settlements effectively.

• Conduct investigations and collect information to assess claim exposure accurately.

• Process claims by implementing action plans aimed at achieving suitable and timely resolutions.

• Negotiate claim settlements within the limits of assigned authority.

• Communicate updates regarding claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.

• Report claims to excess carriers as necessary.

• Respond to requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is advantageous.

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Licensing in all 50 states, including NY, IA, and FL, is required or the willingness to obtain such licenses within six months of employment.

• Home state and NY licensing is necessary.

• Capability to analyze complex or technically difficult general and product liability claims.

• Proficiency in managing high-exposure claims that involve litigation and rehabilitation.

• Strong clear and conceptual thinking abilities.

• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.

• Ability to manage work-related stress and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Capability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficient keyboarding skills.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication abilities.
