Claims Associate – Roofing, Property Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Receive and allocate new inspection assignments

• Assist with the intake of claims and input assignments into the dispatch system

• Schedule inspections with policyholders

• Collaborate with field inspectors, vendors, and internal teams

• Maintain precise notes and documentation for claims

• Communicate with adjusters, inspectors, and other stakeholders to address issues that could delay claim dispatch or completion

• Ensure claims are managed accurately and efficiently, adhering to service level expectations

• Deliver professional and empathetic customer service to policyholders and business partners

• Manage approximately 10–15 claims per hour during CAT events

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance, roofing, construction, estimating, claims, dispatch, or a customer-facing service role

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Detail-oriented with the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

• Comfortable navigating various software systems simultaneously

• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Familiarity with property insurance claim workflows is preferred

• Basic understanding of residential roofing and construction terminology is preferred

• Capability to read repair estimates is preferred

• Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, Guidewire, CRM, or dispatching software is preferred

• Reliable internet connection is necessary

• Windows (Microsoft) laptop or desktop computer is required

• Availability for flexible schedules during CAT events, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to work between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM local time during active CAT events, as needed
