Claims Adjuster, General Liability Claims, Individual Claims, Internal Claims Department

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage intricate claims related to general liability insurance.

• Assess insurance coverage and determine liability.

• Adjust claims within the limits of existing authority.

• Collaborate with and engage service providers and external claims adjusters.

• Conduct negotiations via written communication and telephone with customers, sales partners, and relevant third parties.

• Assist in civil litigation and independent evidence-preservation processes.

• Seek out potential subrogation claims.

• Evaluate claims that appear suspicious.

• Assume responsibility for claims from professional liability insurance for architects after receiving appropriate training.

• Have the chance to contribute to specialized and cross-functional topics and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) or completion of training as an insurance and finance clerk / insurance and finance specialist (m/f/d).

• Ideally possess experience in claims handling within general liability insurance.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong skills in negotiation.
