Claims Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assist dealers and field personnel with program claim reviews and claim entry.

• Act as a communication bridge between program headquarters and dealers to address discrepancies or conflicting coverage related to vehicle repairs.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal staff, dealers, and OEM personnel concerning claim entry issues and inquiries.

• Assess dealer-submitted claims to ensure accuracy based on claim type.

• Create and maintain essential program reports.

• Reach out to fleet customers via email for claims that exceed a specified dollar threshold.

• Charge dealers for any unauthorized or incorrect claims.

• Address inquiries from customers or dealers via email or phone regarding rejected claims.

• Troubleshoot issues related to rejected claims.

• Evaluate claims to determine if Basic Manufacturer's Warranty, Extended Plan Coverage, or other OEM program coverage is applicable.

• Help document claim entry procedures, processes, and reference materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in OEM claim entry is mandatory.

• Experience in warranty coverage reviews is essential.

• 3-5 years of claims experience is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Exceptional follow-up skills.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to manage shifting priorities and provide regular status updates as needed.

• An Associate's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• This is a full-time position.
