Claims Adjuster – Workers Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Analyze and process workers' compensation claims through actionable plans to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions.

• Investigate and collect information to assess claim exposure.

• Negotiate claim settlements within the specified authority limits.

• Maintain communication regarding claim activities and processing with both claimants and clients.

• Report claims to the excess carrier.

• Respond professionally and promptly to requests for guidance.

• Adjudicate claims in alignment with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of claims management experience or a combination of education and experience is required.

• Knowledge of Kansas jurisdiction is essential.

• Licensing is not a requirement.

• Capable of analyzing, investigating, troubleshooting, solving problems, and exercising sound judgment and discretion.

• Able to manage work-related stress and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Must meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficient in computer keyboarding.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Ability to hear, see, and speak effectively.
