Claims Adjuster Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the onboarding process and secure necessary state licensing.

• Acquire knowledge of insurance policy provisions, coverage specifics, regulations, claims procedures, systems, property construction, damage estimation, investigation techniques, coverage assessments, subrogation, liability issues, and dispute resolution.

• Provide compassionate, customer-centered service throughout the entire claims process, including coverage assessment, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution.

• Utilize policy interpretation and coverage assessment skills to guarantee equitable and transparent claim results.

• Conduct thorough claim investigations that involve on-site inspections, recorded statements, and evidence collection.

• Employ estimating tools and systems to evaluate property damage.

• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to address disputes and assist with subrogation and liability matters.

• Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and state regulations.

• Support catastrophe operations, which may include extended hours during significant events or deployment to impacted regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or at least one year of relevant work or customer service experience.

• Acquire the Florida Adjuster's license within 60 days of employment.

• Secure all other necessary state licenses within 90 days of employment.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
