Claims Adjuster – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, and resolve insurance claims.

• Determine the policy coverage for reported losses and establish suitable compensation amounts.

• Collaborate with veterinary clinics and policyholders to review pet medical histories and ascertain baseline health.

• Investigate and manage assigned claims.

• Confirm coverage and compensation figures in accordance with insurance policies.

• Update the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), process payments, and finalize claims.

• Request medical records from providers as required.

• Communicate with clients and providers during treatment when necessary.

• Carry out other designated responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience is considered equivalent to one year of college).

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credentials.

• Must possess and maintain an Adjusters license or acquire one within 90 days of hire.

• Must be a resident of the United States.

• Availability for full-time work; days and hours are determined by business requirements.
