Claim Associate – Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Handle straightforward personal and commercial property claims within assigned authority.

• Ensure that claim files are accurately documented and categorized in accordance with policy.

• Maintain action plans to adhere to state-mandated contact deadlines and facilitate timely file resolutions.

• Escalate issues as necessary.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for subrogation.

• Secure and manage salvage appropriately.

• Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured individuals, clients, agents, or brokers.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

• Contribute to organizational quality initiatives.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Licenses as mandated.

• A minimum of one (1) year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience in the claims industry is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of construction is an advantage.

• Capability to process personal and commercial property claims.

• Ability to meet state-mandated contact deadlines.

• Skill in identifying and pursuing subrogation opportunities.

• Proficient communication with insured individuals, clients, agents, or brokers.

• Willingness to travel as required.
