Claim Associate – Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Process straightforward personal and commercial property claims within assigned authority limits.

• Ensure that claim files are accurately documented and coded according to the policy provisions.

• Maintain action plans to adhere to state-mandated contact deadlines and facilitate prompt claim resolutions.

• Escalate issues as necessary.

• Identify and pursue potential subrogation opportunities.

• Secure and manage salvage as needed.

• Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured individuals, clients, agents, or brokers.

• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Travel as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Licenses as necessary.

• One (1) year of general office experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience in the claims industry is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of construction is advantageous.

• Capability to process straightforward personal and commercial line property claims.

• Ability to maintain action plans and comply with state-required contact deadlines.

• Ability to identify and pursue subrogation opportunities.

• Ability to effectively communicate with insureds, clients, agents, or brokers.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
