This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.
• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of water treatment and wastewater treatment initiatives.
• Create innovative solutions for intricate challenges related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and various other professionals.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide groundbreaking project solutions.
• Cultivate and enhance client relationships alongside seasoned project managers.
• Define the scope and budget for new drinking and wastewater facility projects.
• Oversee multiple projects at the same time.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain the license within six months.
• Experience in designing and constructing municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and applicable regulations.
• Preferred: eight years of experience in designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
• Preferred: eight years of experience in designing and/or managing drinking water projects, including treatment, wells and pumphouses, storage facilities, booster stations, and distribution systems.
• Understanding of regional water and wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Competence in scoping and budgeting new drinking and wastewater facility projects.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Must reside in MN, WI, IA, NE, KS, or TX.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
