Civil Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of civil litigation, overseeing the entire lifecycle of cases.

• Prepare pleadings, defenses, appeals, motions, and initial complaints of varying complexity.

• Attend hearings and present oral arguments as required.

• Develop and execute suitable litigation strategies tailored to each case's specifics.

• Update and maintain case management systems, including LegalBox, ensuring organized information.

• Foster direct communication with clients, engaging in meetings, alignment discussions, and presenting results.

• Assist in managing workflow, prioritizing tasks according to deadlines and urgency.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance internal processes continuously.

• Identify risks and suggest measures that enhance the portfolio's overall performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in high-volume civil litigation.

• In-depth knowledge of Civil Law, Consumer Law, and Civil Procedure.

• Experience in updating litigation case management systems.

• Proactive approach, strong client communication abilities, and confidence during meetings.

• Exceptional organizational skills, urgency, and capacity to optimize time and deliverables.

• Resilience and readiness to tackle challenging situations.

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in Civil Procedure or related fields of Civil Law.

• Preferred: Proficiency in English.
