Civil Litigation and Consumer Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage civil litigation pertaining to credit operations and claims associated with correspondent banking activities.

• Formulate procedural strategies and legal documents, subject to continuous client review.

• Evaluate supporting documents and information to establish defense strategies.

• Update case management systems with procedural updates.

• Oversee proceedings and adhere to deadlines.

• Attend hearings when necessary.

• Create management reports and assist in identifying risks and areas for improvement.

• Communicate with clients, appointed representatives, and correspondent law firms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with a valid Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) license.

• Extensive experience in civil litigation.

• In-depth knowledge of Consumer Law.

• Proficient in drafting legal documents, including responses, appeals, motions, and enforcement of judgments.

• Experience managing a substantial caseload.

• Background in fintechs, banks, payment institutions, or banking correspondents.

• Familiarity with Central Bank regulations relevant to banking correspondents and credit operations.

• Proficient with legal case management systems such as Projuris, Elaw, or similar platforms.

• Experience working with corporate clients.

• Exceptional legal writing abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational skills and adept at managing deadlines.

• Quick decision-making ability.

• Proactive approach with strong prioritization skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
