Civil Drafting Design Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Execute civil engineering design tasks

• Create survey plats and ALTA surveys

• Conduct grading design and mapping activities

• Develop right-of-way plats, alignment sheets, legal descriptions, and construction plans

• Engage in civil design project lifecycles from initial concept through to construction documentation

• Support budget monitoring and quality assurance efforts

• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, land surveyors, and other team members

• Deliver precise and effective design solutions that adhere to client specifications and regulatory standards

⛳️ Requirements

• One to five years of experience utilizing AutoCAD or other graphic design or mapping software, or possess relevant education for the Civil Design Technician position

• A minimum of five years of civil engineering design experience required for the Civil Design Specialist role

• Familiarity with some or all of the following: survey plats, ALTA surveys, alignment sheets, grading design, mapping, right-of-way plats, legal descriptions, and construction plans

• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil3D

• Proficient in Trimble Business Center

• Skilled in Microsoft Suite

• Applicants must not require U.S. visa sponsorship
