
Civil 3D Designer / Civil Engineering Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Create civil engineering drawings utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for land development and infrastructure initiatives in Australia.
• Aid in the design and drafting of residential subdivisions, stormwater drainage systems, roadworks, earthworks, and sewer and water reticulation networks.
• Generate surfaces, grading models, pipe networks, long sections, cross sections, and comprehensive engineering plans.
• Produce concept plans, detailed design drawings, development approval (DA) drawings, operational works (OPW) drawings, and as-constructed documentation.
• Modify and update drawings in accordance with engineering mark-ups and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, planners, architects, and other consultants.
• Ensure project files and drafting standards are well-organized.
• Assist in maintaining quality control processes and verifying documentation accuracy.
• Support quantity calculations, project documentation, and technical deliverables.
• Contribute to project execution from concept design to construction documentation.
• 4-7+ years of experience in civil drafting, civil design, or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience working on civil engineering or land development projects in Australia.
• Strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D (mandatory).
• Proficient in using AutoCAD for civil engineering drafting and documentation.
• Experience with residential subdivisions, stormwater management, earthworks, road design, and sewer and water infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with civil engineering drawings, design standards, and drafting best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to producing precise, high-quality work.
• Capacity to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in producing drawings and documentation to Australian Standards, with knowledge of local codes, specifications, and project delivery requirements.
• Previous experience assisting clients in AU/NZ/US/UK/CA or similar markets is highly valued.
• Fully remote position with partial overlap with Australian business hours (AEST).
• Full-time commitment (40 hours per week).
• Communication primarily through Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, and Outlook.
• Expected to work autonomously after onboarding and training.
