CIC Technician, Clinical Collaborative Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Send CIC forms via fax to prescribers and facilities utilizing RightFax.

• Reach out to prescribers’ offices and facilities to confirm fax numbers, office details, and fax preferences.

• Conduct outbound calls and handle incoming calls.

• Create patient-specific therapeutic interchanges (PSTIs).

• Establish Facility Formulary Therapeutic Interchanges (FFTIs) and Third-Party Therapeutic Interchanges (TPTIs).

• Compile medication profiles for Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

• Manage documents in Perceptive Content, including approvals and denials for medications.

• Offer adaptable support across CIC operations, including resolving medication rejections, addressing special customer requests, and handling prior authorization processes.

• Provide prompt customer service to facilities and prescribers’ offices.

• Work together with pharmacists on initiatives aimed at cost savings.

• Assist in resolving issues related to medication claim rejections.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience as a pharmacy technician.

• Current pharmacy technician license or registration in good standing in the state of residence.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in computer systems and standard office applications.

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Capability to adhere to the assigned schedule and be available to assist team needs during standard operating hours.

• Ability to maintain an appropriate remote work setting that supports confidentiality, productivity, and business requirements.

• Preferred: three or more years of relevant pharmacy technician experience.

• Preferred: familiarity with Omnicare systems, including OASIS, OmniDX, Rightfax, and Perceptive Content.

• Preferred: proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, leadership, and customers.

• Preferred: strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while meeting production standards.
