This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver consistent, person-centered assistance to children and young individuals in their homes and surrounding communities.
• Provide respite, short breaks, and support within the community.
• Facilitate communication, emotional regulation, self-confidence, and independence.
• Assist children in engaging in meaningful activities and opportunities.
• Adhere to individual support plans, risk assessments, and established strategies.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with families and management.
• Collaborate with a small group of children and families as part of a cohesive team.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends based on service requirements.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Access to a dependable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel.
• Business-use motor insurance.
• Experience supporting autistic children or those with learning disabilities, Special Educational Needs (SEN), or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates lacking a Level 3 qualification may be considered if they possess significant relevant experience and a commitment to professional development.
• A calm, reliable, and relationship-oriented approach.
• Strong communication, observational, and record-keeping skills.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to be available during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Submission of a CV and a supporting statement detailing relevant experience, preferred contracted hours, general availability, and location within the Dorset area.
• Permanent contracted hours available with both part-time and full-time options.
