Child & Adolescent Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual therapy services to children and adolescents aged 5–17+

• Administer evidence-based therapy, clinical assessments, diagnoses, case conceptualizations, and treatment planning

• Create personalized care plans tailored to developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs as well as treatment objectives

• Regularly evaluate validated clinical measures to determine treatment requirements, inform care planning, and track progress

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, PCIT, and other suitable modalities during virtual sessions

• Recognize safety issues, conduct safety planning, and provide crisis intervention or escalation when clinically necessary

• Collaborate with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other relevant parties when clinically appropriate and permitted

• Ensure timely, precise, and HIPAA-compliant documentation via TimelyCare’s designated electronic health record

• Uphold treatment goals and documentation in alignment with professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards

• Utilize independent professional judgment within the bounds of licensure, applicable laws, contractual obligations, and TimelyCare platform standards

• Offer services from a suitable home or professional office environment that supports confidentiality and quality care

• Establish service availability in accordance with the contractor agreement and relevant requirements

• Generally conduct 55-minute therapy sessions, utilizing the remaining time for documentation

• Maintain professional boundaries through the TimelyCare platform

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent independent counselor license (LPC, LCPC, LMHC)

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP as applicable)

• Authorization to independently provide clinical services within the relevant state

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening abilities

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families

• Capability to appropriately evaluate and address safety concerns, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning

• Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors lacking a clinical therapist license are not eligible

• Preferred: Experience delivering pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services through telehealth, school-based programs, outpatient mental health, or community mental health settings

• Preferred: Experience or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment modalities such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care

• Preferred: Familiarity with family systems and developmentally appropriate clinical interventions

• Valid U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available
