Chief Technology Officer – FinTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish and steer the technology vision and strategic roadmap.

• Convert emerging technologies into products that cater to customer needs.

• Articulate technical solutions as tangible business value during discussions with C-level customers.

• Discover new customer use cases and transform them into viable products and revenue streams.

• Collaborate closely with the Founder & CEO, serving as a strategic partner in technology and business.

• Lead and prioritize technology projects based on their measurable impact on the business.

• Contribute to the company’s growth and positioning in the European data-driven financial services market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of leadership experience in roles such as CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, or similar, preferably within the FinTech or banking sector.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architectures, APIs, data analytics, AI/ML, security, and regulatory requirements specific to banking.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Demonstrated ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and either support or lead technical business development initiatives.

• An entrepreneurial mindset capable of linking technology with customer requirements and commercial prospects.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Familiarity with Open Banking, PSD2, banking integrations, or similar is advantageous.
