Chief Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of technical solutions for new captures and proposals in response to government RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices, supporting IC and DoW programs.

• Create and produce technical volumes, white papers, and solution narratives from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

• Analyze and break down complex government requirements across various mission areas and technical domains.

• Collaborate with capture managers, business development leaders, and subject matter experts to craft distinct and winning strategies.

• Identify and incorporate emerging technologies, architectures, and methodologies into proposed solutions.

• Design solution architectures, including system designs, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps customized to customer needs.

• Develop capability prototypes and architect solutions.

• Engage with government customers and stakeholders during pre-RFP shaping activities to influence requirements and positioning.

• Assist cost and pricing teams by providing technical bases for estimates and work breakdown structures.

• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, industry trends, and government priorities within the Intel domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree with 18 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 14 years of experience.

• At least 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical field.

• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

• Candidates must possess an active Top Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Experience with USSF systems, customers, and missions.

• Proven experience working within the defense sector supporting U.S. Government clients.

• Demonstrated history of supporting or leading technical proposals in response to government RFPs.

• Experience in or supporting capture and business development efforts.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Knowledge of government acquisition processes and proposal development lifecycles.

• Capability to develop comprehensive technical solutions across complex, multi-disciplinary problem sets in Space Systems, IT Systems, GEOINT, or SIGINT domains.

• Comfort operating across a diverse range of technical areas.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to formulate solutions with incomplete information.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines.
