This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create presentations, briefs, memos, pre-reads, and talking points for senior executives.
• Develop presentations intended for boards, CEOs, and donors.
• Convert cost-effectiveness analyses and market and epidemiological data into clear narratives.
• Oversee cross-functional projects initiated by the VP.
• Provide immediate support for critical VP priorities, including managing investment cases.
• Monitor project milestones, responsible parties, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and external resources.
• Identify gaps, address challenges, and resolve issues with cluster leadership.
• Create concept notes, proposals, budget narratives, and pitch decks targeted at donors.
• Prepare the VP for meetings with donors and partners, and track subsequent actions.
• Act as a strategic partner to the VP by providing analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Assist in prioritizing the VP's time and managing competing demands.
• Link the cluster's OKR process with the VP's agenda.
• Manage incoming requests directed to the VP's office.
• Equip the VP for engagements with the CEO, board, senior leadership, and partners.
• Follow up on agreed actions, identify obstacles, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Cultivate relationships across HIV, TB, and Hepatitis leadership and the broader organization.
• Manage agendas, decisions, and follow-ups for cluster leadership meetings.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of six years of professional experience in management consulting, global health, strategy, operations, or a similar environment.
• Exceptional skills in PowerPoint with a proven ability to independently create executive-quality presentations.
• Experience in drafting concept notes, briefs, talking points, proposals, and pitch decks.
• Strong visual and narrative skills for data storytelling.
• Excellent technical writing and executive-level synthesis abilities.
• Good judgment regarding confidentiality and sensitive communications.
• Proficiency with AI tools for research, synthesis, and drafting, along with the ability to validate outputs.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities across diverse stakeholders and complex initiatives.
• Experience in developing fundraising or business development materials.
• Outstanding research, writing, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide structure for new or vaguely defined tasks.
• Capability to manage upward, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with senior leaders.
• Honesty and a willingness to respectfully disagree with the VP when necessary.
• A strong commitment to CHAI's mission and values.
• Preferred: experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, pharmaceuticals, HIV, TB, hepatitis, infectious disease programming, market shaping, procurement, access to medicines, social impact fundraising, remote decentralized teams, or experience in low- and middle-income countries.
• Flexible work location, including CHAI program countries.
• Option for telecommuting or remote work.
