Chief of Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day business functions and serve as the operational foundation for the Founder and CEO.

• Coordinate and drive cross-departmental growth initiatives, encompassing business development, talent offerings, and strategic partnerships.

• Establish and uphold the company's operational cadence through KPIs, dashboards, weekly/monthly assessments, and escalation pathways.

• Manage communications with external stakeholders while maintaining commercial sensitivity.

• Handle negotiations with suppliers, platforms, and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and delivery.

• Execute high-speed project sprints by defining milestones, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring timely completion.

• Supervise the delivery of outputs by collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in management consulting, strategy, operations, or a dynamic commercial role.

• Ideally, experience from prestigious consultancies, investment banking, or venture capital firms.

• Degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.

• An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

• Proficiency in developing financial/ROI models, analyzing assumptions, and closing deals.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Comfortable creating dashboards and KPIs.

• Experience with CRM and project management software is preferred.

• Exceptional reliability, a strong work ethic, and a sense of ownership.

• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, prioritize effectively, and deliver with minimal supervision.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management.

• Ability to work within the same timezone as the CEO.

• Willingness to maintain a 24/7 mindset.
