Chief Information Officer – Luxembourg

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Luxembourg.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the technology strategy.

• Ensure the availability, security, and robustness of information systems.

• Propel digital transformation efforts and foster technological innovation.

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.

• Oversee IT budgets, investments, and technology planning initiatives.

• Guarantee compliance with applicable regulatory and legal standards in the banking and financial services sector.

• Collaborate closely with business units to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and digitalization.

• Lead programs focused on cybersecurity, technology risk management, and business continuity strategies.

• Coordinate modernization projects, enterprise architecture efforts, and the integration of emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technology leadership positions within the banking or financial services industry.

• A demonstrated history of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing IT operations at a strategic level.

• Extensive understanding of technology environments, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and IT governance.

• Experience in vendor management, budget oversight, and executing transformation projects.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and technology standards in the financial sector.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.

• Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg.

• Previous experience as a CIO, Head of IT, or a similar leadership role (preferred).

• Experience in international or multinational settings (preferred).

• Knowledge of private banking, wealth management, or specialized financial services (preferred).
