Charge Integrity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize Epic work queues to pinpoint missing charges or modifiers.

• Conduct root-cause analysis to trace the origins of charging and coding errors.

• Facilitate comprehensive communication regarding findings.

• Code Emergency Room accounts for IV Infusion Therapy charges.

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute charge capture initiatives and processes to enhance revenue management and protection.

• Identify the fundamental causes of revenue challenges and create corrective action plans.

• Provide training on corrective action strategies.

• Collaborate closely with designated departments to ensure that work queues are effectively addressed.

• Offer necessary support, guidance, and education.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in charging and coding, ideally with Epic.

• Proficiency in CPT/HCPCS codes or charging is required.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of coding experience is mandatory.

• 1-2 years of experience in third-party billing and payment methodologies is required.

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations is essential.

• SmartSheet experience is preferred.

• High school diploma is required.

• An associate degree is preferred.

• Must be comfortable working in Epic.

• Strong background in coding is necessary.

• A solid understanding of the revenue cycle is essential.

• Experience in handling claims is required.

• Ability to work independently is necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.

• Must reside in one of the following remote-approved states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wyoming.
