This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Propel performance among leading distributor partners
• Enhance training, inventory management, and merchandising execution
• Foster deeper engagement with distributors to boost sales
• Expand market share in critical channels and promote the adoption of the complete product portfolio
• Align enterprise strategy with execution at the branch level
• Develop and implement training strategies, comprehensive multi-year role-based roadmaps, and organized training sessions
• Incorporate selling skills into product certification initiatives
• Improve product placement, consolidate vendor relationships, broaden merchandising opportunities, and enhance inventory metrics such as turnover, GMROI, dead-stock reduction, and fill rate
• Direct strategic distributor engagement initiatives, including Quarterly Business Reviews, annual feedback cycles, and relationship cultivation across various organizational levels
• Utilize promotions, contests, and marketing funds to enhance distributor focus and execution
• Monitor and analyze performance data to maximize distributor effectiveness and fortify relationships
• Achieve measurable growth in revenue, new product development adoption, opportunity pipeline health, distributor satisfaction, and channel alignment
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Background in channel sales, distributor management, or leading training initiatives
• Proven expertise in inventory metrics and sales program adoption
• Capability to aid in the design and delivery of structured, role-specific training programs
• Proficiency in achieving alignment from enterprise leadership to branch-level execution
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical abilities
• Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret KPIs and assess return on investment (ROI)
• Willingness and capability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time
• Preferred working knowledge of welding processes and products
