This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee the implementation, governance, and ongoing enhancement of global IT change management processes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT change requests from initial intake to approval, execution, validation, and post-change review.
• Utilize risk-based change methodologies to evaluate service impacts, establish approval processes, and ensure effective mitigation and rollback strategies.
• Lead discussions in change advisory meetings, readiness assessments, scheduling reviews, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate the execution of changes and manage dependencies involving business teams, site teams, vendors, and managed service provider partners.
• Ensure that change records and supporting documentation are comprehensive, accurate, and ready for audit.
• Track and report on change metrics and KPIs, such as approval speed, risk profiles, emergency changes, failed changes, and issues arising post-change.
• Assist in operational readiness for technology updates, construction-related IT implementations, cloud governance, endpoint lifecycle management, network modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Develop and update change management guidelines, templates, knowledge resources, and training materials.
• Provide training and coaching to change submitters, implementers, approvers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify gaps in processes, recurring problems, opportunities for tooling and automation, and areas for improvement in reporting.
• Contribute to resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, compliance, and operational risk management efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, networking, cloud services, service delivery, service desk, or data center technology environments.
• At least 2 years of experience in change management, IT service management (ITSM), governance, or operational controls.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL or comparable service management frameworks.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/change management platform.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, end-user computing, endpoint management, and high-availability technology environments.
• Capability to evaluate change risks, identify dependencies, and formulate mitigation, validation, and rollback plans.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different time zones and to work independently as well as part of a global team.
• Preferred experience with IT operational metrics, KPI reporting, process documentation, audit support, compliance standards, automation, and workflow enhancement.
• Experience in data centers, colocation, mission-critical facilities, or global operations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%, with potential for increased travel over time.
