This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for optical transceiver products.

• Facilitate cross-functional reviews and approvals for design, firmware, component, process, and supplier modifications.

• Evaluate the technical, quality, reliability, manufacturing, inventory, and customer implications of suggested changes.

• Oversee product configurations, revisions, BOMs, and documentation within PLM and ERP systems.

• Lead activities related to the Change Review Board (CRB) and ensure the prompt implementation of sanctioned changes.

• Coordinate the qualification and validation efforts necessary to support product and process modifications.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to execute changes.

• Ensure that manufacturing documentation, testing procedures, and quality plans are updated prior to production release.

• Promote metrics for change management, process enhancements, and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or change management.

• Familiarity with optical transceivers, optical components, and optical modules is highly preferred.

• Proficient understanding of ECO/ECN processes, product lifecycle management (PLM), and configuration control.

• Experience with PLM systems (such as Agile, Windchill, Teamcenter, Arena) and ERP systems (preferably SAP).

• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational abilities.
