This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Facilitate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies including GenAI, VDI, automation, and digital engineering tools.
• Evaluate and pilot innovative technical solutions that enhance productivity, throughput, and compliance.
• Lead interdisciplinary process improvement initiatives to optimize operational workflows, minimize bottlenecks, and boost consistency and efficiency.
• Develop standardized engineering practices and devise scalable, repeatable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental partners to address organizational, technical, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee readiness, resource allocation, risks, and dependencies among various stakeholders.
• Implement pilot projects, establish success metrics, evaluate outcomes, and expand effective solutions.
• Deliver communication, reporting, and KPI tracking for leadership and teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Represent CGO Engineering Initiatives in reviews, working groups, and enterprise forums.
• Travel up to 35% to engage stakeholders, support initiatives, and ensure alignment across locations.
• Directly assist the CGO Engineering Initiatives Leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in engineering leadership, process enhancement, and cross-functional project management.
• Proven experience in piloting, assessing, and scaling technical and operational initiatives.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as GenAI and VDI, and their implementation in engineering workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills, with experience in preparing updates and technical briefings for leadership.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, digital technology, security, quality, operations, and supply chain within a matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to drive the adoption of standardized processes in large organizations.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Program Management experience and/or certification is preferred.
• Experience in both the defense and commercial industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) or the CORE Operating Framework is preferred.
• Knowledge of security processes and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Experience with process optimization, operational methodologies, and policy and standards documentation is preferred.
• Experience in scaling initiatives and leading collaboration across complex organizations is preferred.
