Certified Recovery Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Connect with a roster of members through regularly scheduled phone or video calls, text messaging, digital support groups, and wellness planning.

• Create detailed wellness plans in collaboration with members and their care teams, utilizing evidence-based recovery screening tools.

• Contribute a peer perspective in the development of digital interventions, technological tools, and training sessions.

• Record activities in the appropriate systems in accordance with Marigold and established standards.

• Share personal lived experiences related to mental health and/or addiction to assist individuals pursuing or maintaining recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach.

• Certification as an Addiction Recovery Coach in Massachusetts.

• Access to reliable internet in a private environment.

• Availability to work during evenings and weekends.

• Proficiency in using a smartphone, computer, and software tools such as Microsoft Office.

• Capability to document member interactions in an electronic record system.

• Openness to discussing personal lived experiences with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Ability to work autonomously and recognize when to seek assistance or clarification.

• Proven experience in developing wellness plans and/or recovery objectives.

• Flexibility to adjust and prioritize tasks according to member needs.

• Experience in providing peer support through digital platforms is highly advantageous.

• Fluency in Spanish is a considerable asset.
