This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with and assist members via chat, email, and phone while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Communicate member requirements to healthcare providers.
• Interact with pharmacies and finalize prior authorizations to address prescription challenges.
• Ensure strict confidentiality when managing member data in accordance with Workit Health, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
• Acquire and uphold knowledge of the EHR, products, and communication tools.
• Conduct video drug screenings and interpret drug screen outcomes.
• Assist and inform members regarding drug screening necessities and processes.
• Provide education to members about Workit Health’s drug screening options and assist in overcoming obstacles.
• Carry out care management outreach to enhance member participation in essential care plan activities and minimize barriers to care.
• Follow scheduled start and end times diligently.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all communications.
• National Medical Assistant Certification is mandatory.
• Committed to delivering exceptional internal and external customer service and collaborating with diverse groups, including Workit staff, members, family members, and vendors.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Preferably have one or more years of healthcare experience along with familiarity with medical terminology.
• Comfortable seeking support, assistance, and guidance when necessary.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or behavioral health care is advantageous.
• Maintain a dedicated, private workspace that ensures HIPAA compliance and offers a quiet, distraction-free environment.
• Fully available and engaged during scheduled work hours, with the flexibility to participate in video meetings with the camera on as required, without conflicting obligations.
• Fully remote work.
