Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skincare.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients with meals — from preparation to providing feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional tasks as needed for patient services.

• Offer hands-on assistance in patients’ homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver's license along with an insured, dependable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working autonomously with limited supervision.

• Sincere empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful communication, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is preferred.
