Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in their care plan.

• Aid patients during mealtimes, encompassing meal preparation and feeding support when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in managing their medication self-administration.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients closely and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided following the organization's standards.

• Execute additional duties as needed to enhance patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification accredited by the AHA.

• A valid driver's license and access to an insured and reliable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Proficient in reading, understanding written instructions, and accurately documenting care.

• Capable of working independently with limited supervision.

• Demonstrates genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintains professionalism, tact, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a desirable qualification.
