Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Aid in mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Assist patients during meal times, from meal preparation to providing feeding support when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for patients.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided according to organizational guidelines.

• Carry out additional duties as required to enhance patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Home Health Aide from California.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Possession of a valid driver's license and an insured, dependable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.

• Demonstrate genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintain professionalism, tact, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is preferred.
