Certification Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create performance-oriented, hands-on ClickHouse certification examinations for real-time analytics, observability, and data warehousing applications.

• Collaborate with company experts to formulate job task analyses for the examinations.

• Assess and maintain all certification exams, including the development of grading scripts.

• Design quizzes for course completion badges and ClickHouse credentials.

• Build a community presence for ClickHouse certified professionals via social media, user conferences, and Meetups.

• Monitor and report on certification program metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Partner with certification and badging providers to guarantee accurate exam and badge delivery.

• Offer customer support to learners who are seeking certifications.

• Occasionally travel to Meetups and conferences to promote ClickHouse within the community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing certification examinations and quizzes for a highly technical audience, including software engineers and database developers.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Comprehensive technical knowledge in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, and big data.

• Capability to swiftly and effectively learn new technologies.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Over 5 years of experience in certification within the technical software sector (bonus).

• Experience in curriculum development or instruction related to databases and/or distributed systems (bonus).

• Familiarity with the ClickHouse database (bonus).

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other Cloud Service Providers (bonus).

• Experience in constructing software certification examinations (bonus).

• Technical degree in Computer Science or a related field (bonus).

• Ability to collaborate across engineering, support, product, and development teams (bonus).

• Willingness to travel occasionally for industry conferences and Meetups.
