This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and update UAS flight (UFM) and maintenance (UMM) manuals, ensuring that physical fleet hardware and software align with regulatory filings.

• Lead domestic (FAA 44807, Part 11/135/137) and international (ANAC, TC, etc.) certification and airworthiness initiatives.

• Obtain COAs, Experimental Airworthiness Certification Packages, and N-number registrations.

• Oversee aircraft conformity and conduct civil aviation authority site audits.

• Assist in certification, airworthiness, and operational approval processes for autonomous unmanned aircraft systems.

• Utilize aviation technical documentation and continuous airworthiness expertise to promote safe, efficient, and cost-effective autonomous aviation solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Knowledge of aircraft regulatory processes (UAS Exemptions, Part 21, Part 23, etc.).

• Strong cross-functional collaboration, time management, and prioritization abilities.

• Willingness to travel for on-site visits to headquarters as necessary.

• Capability to assess evolving hardware, software, and technical specifications against intricate legal frameworks to identify licensing requirements and independently adjust compliance strategies.

• Skilled in drafting, submitting, and monitoring administrative applications, permits, and official filings within external agency portals and regulatory databases.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Civil Aviation Industry.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, WebManuals, or other technical writing tools.

• Experience with collaboration platforms such as Confluence, Slack, and Google Suite.

• A strong team player who can adapt to various roles to assist the team in progressing.

• Background in both large corporate settings and startup environments.
