This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Drive the ongoing growth and influence of UVC.

• Take ownership of UVC's fundraising and revenue strategies aimed at achieving long-term financial viability.

• Establish and nurture relationships with corporations, foundations, financial institutions, government entities, donors, sponsors, founders, investors, executives, universities, economic development organizations, and other collaborators.

• Act as a prominent representative for UVC and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Upstate New York.

• Expand and engage the regional network, connecting founders with capital, customers, talent, mentors, and additional opportunities.

• Collaborate with the Board to define organizational priorities and lead their implementation.

• Create and manage the annual budget.

• Oversee UVC's team and financial assets while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Supervise the Community Advocate network and the execution of UVC's programs and events.

• Discover new avenues for partnerships, programs, and expansion.

• Deep commitment to UVC's mission and fostering entrepreneurship in Upstate New York.

• Proven track record of building relationships, partnerships, and networks.

• Experience in fundraising, revenue generation, budget development and management, sales, or securing financial support from individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and/or government agencies.

• An entrepreneurial mindset capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

• Established credibility among founders, investors, business leaders, funders, and community partners.

• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI.

• Experience in leading a team, managing a budget, and steering organizational priorities.
