Category Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize syndicated data to derive actionable insights regarding category trends and shopper behavior.

• Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports and presentations.

• Assist in evaluating and recommending modular and planogram strategies.

• Develop data-driven narratives that influence retailer strategies, encompassing pricing, promotions, and new product placements.

• Contribute to the category vision aimed at enhancing the retailer's overall category and boosting Mondelēz business performance.

• Serve as an impartial, consultative category expert and a trusted advisor during customer buyer interactions.

• Assess and enhance the shopping experience across both physical stores and digital/ecommerce platforms.

• Compile and synthesize market research and behavioral data into actionable reports and presentations.

• Foster relationships across customer, sales, category leadership, trade marketing, and omnichannel activation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Category Management, Insights, or Analytics.

• Required experience in the CPG/FMCG industry.

• Exceptional analytical and storytelling abilities.

• Familiarity with syndicated data sources, such as Nielsen and Numerator.

• Proficient in using retailer data, shopper insights, and analytics to formulate comprehensive customer strategies and plans.

• Knowledgeable in analyzing and visualizing large datasets.

• Experience in developing presentations for customers.

• High proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated success in collaborating with internal teams.

• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
