This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the development, production, and upkeep of recurring reports, such as monthly Category Performance Scorecards, weekly retailer reports, and feature/promo trackers.
• Conduct data preparation, validation, and reconciliation to guarantee high levels of accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests from Sales and Marketing departments.
• Examine data from a shopper's viewpoint to uncover trends, behaviors, and opportunities for category growth.
• Aid in promotion performance evaluations, assortment/line reviews, and innovation projects.
• Standardize reporting and analytics processes across business units and retailers.
• Document processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Offer data support for customer meetings, category assessments, and strategic initiatives.
• Help in the adoption of advanced analytics tools.
• Contribute to scalable analytics as the business grows.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1–3 years of professional experience; internships or co-ops in analytics, category management, retail, CPG, or market research are preferred.
• A strong academic record with proven analytical and quantitative abilities demonstrated through coursework or projects.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, essential formulas, and charts.
• Experience managing large datasets from various sources, including data cleaning, standardization, and integration.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in presenting data clearly and connecting insights to business contexts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• A self-starter who can work independently and proactively seek solutions with minimal oversight.
• A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and contribute across functions.
• A genuine interest in CPG, retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and data-driven decision-making.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet access and regularly utilize a computer workstation.
• Willingness to travel approximately once per month, which may include overnight trips.
• Experience with syndicated retail data platforms like Circana/Nielsen is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
• Experience in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations is beneficial.
• Exposure to advanced Excel functionalities such as data modeling and macros is a plus.
