Casualty Reserving Actuary – FCAS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform reserve adequacy assessments for Contractor-Controlled and Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP/OCIP)

• Analyze claims history, loss development, reserve assumptions, and identify potential reserve shortfalls

• Assess probabilistic reserve scenarios, including P50/P70/P80, utilizing stochastic methods

• Produce a clear actuarial report that includes recommendations and the necessary opinion letter

⛳️ Requirements

• FCAS (Fellow, Casualty Actuarial Society) — required

• Over 10 years of experience in P&C casualty reserving

• Proven track record in conducting CCIP/OCIP/wrap-up reserve adequacy assessments

• Familiarity with stochastic reserving and percentile-based reserve scenarios

• Based in the US and qualified to issue the necessary opinion letter in the relevant jurisdiction

• Available for a consulting engagement lasting 4–6 weeks
