Cash Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Execute daily intercompany transfers among various bank accounts and entities in line with approved cash plans.

• Monitor account balances to ensure sufficient liquidity for payroll, vendor payments, property expenses, tax obligations, debt service, and other operational duties.

• Maintain daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of each transaction.

• Collaborate with accounting and leadership to anticipate future funding needs and operational cash requirements.

• Initiate transfers following established internal control procedures and approval processes.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing by providing documentation for cash movements and support for reconciliations.

• Keep cash planning logs updated.

• Help maintain organized banking documentation, authorized signer lists, and access controls.

• Partner with finance leadership to enhance cash positioning across entities while reducing idle balances.

• Ensure strict compliance with confidentiality and security protocols when managing sensitive financial information.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–4+ years of experience in cash management, banking operations, or accounting.

• Experience supporting companies based in the U.S. is preferred.

• Familiarity with multiple bank accounts, institutions, and multi-entity environments.

• Strong grasp of cash flow management principles.

• Experience in initiating and tracking ACH, wire transfers, and intercompany transfers.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.

• Knowledge of U.S. banking platforms.

• Proficient in Excel, including tracking schedules and providing reconciliation support.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle a high volume of transactions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to maintain regular overlap with U.S. business hours.

• High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize urgent payment needs.

• Capability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
