Cash Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, identify, and allocate all payments.

• Accurately post and distribute cash within designated timelines.

• Input all payments and denials received from the lockbox into the system.

• Reconcile daily cash receipts with lockbox totals and submit for approval to the Reimbursement Manager.

• Perform daily Cash Reconciliation and enter all data into KIS.

• Generate accounts receivable reports for month-end analysis.

• Review entries in Cash Reconciliation and KIS.

• Produce reports as needed or requested by the Reimbursement Manager.

• Identify and promptly report any issues related to bad debt, billing, collections, or payer/insurance that could affect accounts receivable.

• Adhere to relevant internal controls and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.

• Prior experience in Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions is preferred.
