Cash Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately apply cash to open receivables and maintain thorough documentation.

• Utilize the appropriate third-party payment software for daily payment processing.

• Investigate and resolve payments lacking posting instructions within assigned parameters.

• Reconcile accounts receivable batches with bank deposits.

• Reach out to customers regarding any payment discrepancies as needed.

• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet deadlines.

• Monitor and address inquiries sent to the AR email account.

• Process refunds for clients and brokers.

• Handle returned payments using third-party software and communicate with clients about these returns.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science or an Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of one year of experience in Accounts Receivable cash application is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.

• Must have the ability to work remotely within the United States.
