Caseworker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated projects and/or cases

• Comply with established company procedures

• Execute call center initiatives that offer telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding organizations

• Assist with funding and access challenges, which include private, public, and special access programs

• Facilitate compliance initiatives

• Manage and comply with case-management protocols, which encompass clinical monitoring, data gathering, patient follow-ups, compliance, therapy interruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse event reporting, and collaboration with primary healthcare providers

• Launch pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research projects involving physicians, patients, pharmacists, and allied health professionals

• Conduct substantial outbound calling as part of patient initiatives

• Record each activity in the program-specific database

• Participate in ongoing refresher training and specialized training sessions

• Provide insights on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental interactions

• Relay case-management updates to managers, pod members, and program-trained colleagues during absences

• Assist in training new caseworkers, including shadowing and monitoring calls

• Report all adverse events to designated units/departments

• Carry out additional duties and tasks as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive training in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related fields, typically acquired through the completion of a two-year associate's degree or a similar combination of education and experience

• At least one (1) year of experience in customer service

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Detail-oriented

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Experience within the medical and pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution sector

• Familiarity with automated warehouse operating systems

• Strong business and financial insight

• Excellent analytical and mathematical capabilities

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities

• Proficient organizational skills

• Ability to consistently adhere to deadlines
