Caseworker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated projects and/or cases

• Comply with general company procedures

• Execute call-center initiatives offering telephone assistance to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding organizations

• Assist with funding and access challenges, including private, public, and special access programs

• Support compliance initiatives

• Administer and follow case-management protocols, which encompass clinical monitoring, data collection, ongoing patient follow-ups, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation oversight, adverse event reporting, and coordination with primary healthcare providers

• Execute pharmaceutical and biotechnology market research projects involving physicians, patients, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals

• Conduct substantial outbound call activities for patient programs

• Record each activity in program-specific databases

• Engage in ongoing refresher training and specialized training courses

• Provide insights regarding protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relations

• Relay case management information to the manager, pod, and program-trained colleagues during planned absences

• Collaborate with managers to train new caseworkers, including shadowing and call monitoring

• Report all adverse events to designated units/departments

• Carry out additional duties and tasks as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive training in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related fields, typically acquired through the completion of a two-year associate's degree program or an equivalent combination of experience and education

• At least one (1) year of experience in customer service

• Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset

• Capability to multitask

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sector is advantageous

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry

• Familiarity with automated warehouse operating systems

• Strong business and financial acumen

• Solid analytical and mathematical capabilities

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Effective organizational abilities

• Capacity to consistently meet deadlines

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently

• Excellent presentation skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
