This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify student eligibility for Special Education services.
• Analyze referral documentation, student data, and educational records.
• Prepare and present evaluation reports during ARD meetings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ascertain eligibility and service needs.
• Act as case manager for designated Special Education students.
• Organize and engage in ARD meetings within mandated legal timelines.
• Complete necessary documentation in the Special Education data management system.
• Oversee evaluation, annual ARD, re-evaluation, and compliance timelines.
• Work together with administrators, teachers, and related service providers regarding evaluation results, instructional supports, and IEP implementation.
• Facilitate transfer ARD processes for newly enrolled students.
• Provide guidance to instructional staff on accommodations, modifications, and support strategies.
• Coordinate related services outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with IDEA, FERPA, and state regulations.
• Assist with program monitoring, data reporting, and compliance reviews or audits.
• Master’s Degree in Educational Diagnostician, School Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
• Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations for K–12 students.
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Special Education law, ARD processes, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and case management systems.
• Prior experience in a virtual or online education setting is preferred.
• Experience with Texas reporting systems and Special Education data platforms is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple evaluations and case files at once.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a virtual environment.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
